Personal Evangelism is easier than you think – Jesus taught His disciples how.
Network Marketing Analogy
- Have you ever eaten at a restaurant (excellent meal, service, and value) or found an especially good sale, and then shared the news with someone else (family member, friend, neighbor, co-worker, etc.)?
- We all have a personal testimony to share on this subject because we do it frequently without even thinking about it.
- This is a form of network marketing – only you aren’t getting paid for sharing those positive referrals.
- If you are so willing and able to share something as trivial as a meal or a sale – and you can appreciate how much that God has done for you – then why would you even hesitate to share the good news of Jesus?
- It is YOUR personal testimony!
- Speaking of network marketing, are you aware that Jesus actually instituted this business concept?
- He had three men in His inner circle and twelve direct disciples – these were the ones Jesus worked with in an intimate relational process.
- Yes, the Bible states there were 60, then 125; then 600+ disciples, but Jesus didn’t directly work with these large groups in an intimate relational manner – instead, He sent out His disciples to teach, mentor, and engage with those disciples as well as new disciples.
- Why do we sit back and wait for the pastor or selected staff members or missionaries to evangelize the lost, when it is clearly our responsibility?
- What is the work of the ministry? To save the lost and make disciples!
- Everything else is good, but peripheral or subordinate.
